Aloha Hilo Union ʻOhana,

Because of anticipated severe weather from Tropical Storm Nolo, all HIDOE public schools on Hawaiʻi Island will be CLOSED on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 24–25.

All school-sponsored activities, athletics, practices, and events on those days are also canceled.

Please keep an eye on official weather updates, take precautions, and stay safe. We'll share more information as it becomes available. 💙
